Gear for Elbrus

Unlike other expeditions such as Everest and Denali, you don’t need as much technical gear for Elbrus as long as you have high-altitude mountaineering boots, crampons, ice axe, backpack, trekking poles, sleeping bag, hard shells, soft shells, insulated down jacket and pants. Enjoy the photo of my preferred gear 🙂

Leaving for Mt. Elbrus expedition

The Quest for climbing the 7 Summits continues: next is Mount Elbrus in Russia known as the highest Mountain in Europe at an altitude of 18,510ft/5,642m. At the airport with the girls wishing me good luck and a safe climb.
